Series: Take Back Authority Over Your Life
It is Christmas season here at the Emhoff house so we are beginning to decorate the house. Nolan, my seven-year-old, was helping me carry boxes of decorations up front the basement. I handed him a box that he could barely handle. It was heavy for him but he tackled it anyways. I was right behind him as he started up the stairs. He was obviously struggling to clear each step. I watched him pause and think about his situation. He then began to put the box down on each step, gather his strength, and lift it to the next step to do it all again.
